2013 Ford Fusion offers what car drivers want: Alert and Assist technology

As 2013 Ford Fusion gets ready for launch later this year, it is announced that this sedan will be offered in a choice of five powerplant, which will include a Hybrid, Plug in Hybrid and three gas powered engines. These new technologies will also include Ford Blind Spot Information System, Active Park Assist and Ford lane Keeping System which is what is more in demand among drivers of today.

These features are more in demand with the younger and tech savvy car buyers of today. These technologies ensure that car drivers maintain lane discipline, informs them about blind spots and assists in easier parking facilities. Ford Fusion also appeals to this category of drivers due to its latest in MyFordTouch infotainment system which allows drivers to mate their smartphones to access internet facilities, latest weather reports and current affairs, while even permitting them to hear test messages aloud.

Ford has not announced exact release dates but the 2013 Fusion is expected to hit company showrooms later this year. Base prices are tagged at $20,000 while hybrid models should be in the $30,000 bracket and Fusion Energi closer to $40,000.
