After winning in excess of $1 billion in a legal battle against Samsung, Apple has tightened the screws on the Korean powerhouse further. Apple has submitted a list of Samsung smartphones that it wants removed off counters immediately.
The smartphones Apple seeks to ban are some of the older models which include Galaxy S2, Galaxy S, Galaxy S2 AT&T, Galaxy S2 T Mobile, Droid Charge, Galaxy Prevail, Galaxy S2 Epic 4G and Galaxy S 4G. As of now Apple are making sure that these Samsung models are banned in the US. Why Apple has not named Samsung’s S III flagship remains a mystery.
Tech analysts speculate Apple will file a fresh lawsuit in regard with patents against Galaxy S III soon. Samsung officials didn’t seem fazed by the Apple move on seeking a ban on its older models and has announced that it will take all the necessary steps to ensure its products remain in stores across the US. Samsung revealed that it has already started redesigning its products found to infringe Apple patents.
