Tata Motors provides opportunities to Indian engineers through partnership with Institution of Mechanical Engineers



Indian engineers will receive professional registration as per Engineering Council mandates, they will receive training and support from IME which will also conduct sessions on Professional Development, Academic Assessment, Assessment of Competence and Initial Professional Development and Professional Review.

IME will also together with Tata Motors ensure compliance of all Indian engineers in accordance with UK-SPEC for those engineers working in chartered, incorporated and technical status.In a bid to reach out to Indian engineers and provide them with opportunities and all round development, Tata Motors has entered into an alliance with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IME). Through this partnership, Tata Motors will ensure that all engineers based in India are able to compete and receive international recognition. Indian engineers will also benefit from the Tata Motor's experience and IME expertise which will come together to build networks in both academics and industry that will go a long way in increasing the level of engineering prowess in India.

Mr Stephen Tetlow, Chief Executive of Institution of Mechanical Engineers conveyed their delight in partnering with India's leading automotive giants Tata Motors. They now look forward to developing Indian engineers on an international level where training, education and standards are concerned.
