Chevrolet Sail will be launched in both petrol and diesel engine powered variants. Prior to the launch, earlier today, Chevrolet India organized a fun activity for their retailers, who got a chance to drive the Sail sedan on the one and only International race track in India, BIC. The petrol Sail sedan will be powered by a 1.2L mill generating 86 PS, while the diesel Sail sedan will be powered by a 1.3L engine generating 78 PS. Prices are not yet revealed, but expect a price tag in the range of Rs 6.5 lakhs to Rs 8 lakhs.

It needs some serious modifications. Character lines, or expansion in wheelbase could have been done..Just adding a boot space is not enough is doesn't bring it to the class of a sedan. I feel this car is just too lost out in its race to entry level saloons.
