Lamborghini Urus SUV Concept, which is expected to go on sale in 2017, is already famous. Apart from being a Lambo, Urus SUV Concept will also become the cheapest Lamborghini car to be launched. Lamborghini is rumored to price the Urus at €170000 ($208215). At the upcoming 2012 Australian International Motor Show in October, Lamborghini is expected to showcase their Urus SUV. If unveiled here, it will rub shoulders with the likes of Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder and Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 supercar at the Lamborghini pavilion.
Lambo Urus was earlier seen at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show in April this year where it was well received and now the company gets set to capture the attention of Australian buyers with this extremely high class SUV. Sharing the same platform as Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7 as well as Bentley SUV Concept, Lamborghini Urus is slated to be lighter and sportier.
One of the engine options that will power Urus will be the 5.2 liter V10 generating 584 hp. Where the Lamborghini Urus will beat competition is when it comes to CO2 emissions. Urus is lighter than competitors thanks to its lightweight structure and body shell besides lightweight interiors as well. Lightweight in design not only contributes to lower emissions but to better fuel management, dynamics and efficient handling.
