Hyundai Veloster Turbo priced from £21,995 in the UK

Hyundai will commence the sale of new Veloster 1+2 coupe in the UK from September 24, 2012. Prices start from £21,995 and the sportier hatch will be fitted with a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol engine. As per European specifications, Hyundai Veloster Turbo SE will generate output of 183 bhp and peak torque of 195 lb/ft. It will be mated to a six speed manual gearbox and will be able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 8.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 133 mph. Fuel economy and auto emissions stand at 40.9 mpg and 157 g/km respectively.

As compared to the Veloster, Turbo will be seen with enhanced suspension, sturdier dampers and a new body kit all supported by new 18" tyres. It interiors will sport leather seats while driver's seat is electrically adjusted with lumbar support. Fitted with equipment such as a 7" touchscreen SatNav system, rear parking camera with parking guidance will make it compete with the likes of Volkswagen Scirocco 1.4 TSI and Astra GTC VVT Turbo.

Offered in a choice of three exterior colors – White Crystal, Phantom Black Perl and Matt Grey, Veloster Turbo SE also comes with Hyundai's fully transferable 5 year triple care assurance package. This includes a five year unlimited mileage warranty, five years free roadside assistance and five years vehicle health checkups.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo and Genesis Coupe in Asphalt 7: Heat mobile racing Game

Gamers and car enthusiasts have a reason to cheer about as Hyundai has announced that two of its models have been included in the mobile racing game Asphalt 7: Heat. This is a game available on iOS and Android smartphones/tablets and will literally give one the opportunity to experience the brand in their palms. Next, Hyundai and Gameloft will get on with GT Racing: Motor Academy on Android, and there's region secific marketing events planned for the remainder of 2012.

Apart from these two new models from Hyundai, the game also features 60 other high performance cars from various other brands.The Veloster Turbo and Genesis Coupe will be features in Gameloft's Asphalt 7: Heat and is in sync with Hyundai's Modern Premium ideology in regards to making avilable an experience higher than expectation.

The veloster combines innovative technology and a three door coupe design coupled with a 204ps turbocharged engine. Genesis is a rear wheel drive sports car designed eloquently and powered by a 347ps engine. By featuring in the game, the company's mobile game marketing will surely get a boost. Hyundai hopes that the new generation will get a feel if the iconic brand in today's world which will thereby improve brand recognition and improve sales.
