Ford has developed a unique new design for their 2013 Ford Mustang GT Coupe which has a rear end similar to that of a WWII squadron of African American P-51 Mustang fighter planes better known as red Tails. This special edition vehicle will be up for auction at Gathering of Eagles charity auction on July 26th at the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture Oshkosh 2012. All proceeds from this special auction will be donated to EAA Young Eagles program. This program is instrumental in providing introductory flights to over 1.6 million youth ever since its commencement in 1992.
The 2013 Ford Mustang GT Coupe with its eye catching rear end is seen with an all exterior finish of aluminum and silver chrome with striking red and yellow accents. It is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine and possesses sparkling new dampers, lowering springs, GT500 Brembo brakes, rear diffuser, grille, splitter and Forgiato 20" alloy wheels. Its interiors are done up in Recaro seats with embroidered "Red Tails" logo, embroidered floor mats with distinctive autograph by 332nd Fighter Group and puddle lamps that project Red Tails imagery when doors are opened.
