2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee reveals two new SUV variants

Jeep has announced launch of two new models which will be released into markets from October 2012. One of these is 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk SUV which is being offered with a choice of two engine options – V6 and V8. The vehicle will be capable and sturdy, with enhanced ground clearance of about 11". It will possess 18" Goodyear Silent Armor all terrain tyres, Kevlar reinforcement Solid steel body protection, Selec-Terrain traction control systems in five settings – snow, rock, sand/mud, sport and auto and one factor that ensures maximum performance whatever the circumstance is the Rear Electronic Limited slip Differential of ELSD which is available in the V8 engined model.

This ensures transfer of 100% of engine torque to one rear wheel which enables forward movement of the Jeep even in most severe road or off road conditions. Available in a color choice of Bright White, Brilliant Black, Mineral Gray, Maximum Steel and Deep Cherry Red, Jeep interiors are upholstered in contrasting black leather and suede with red accents while Mopar mats line floors both on front and at the rear.

Jeep Moab Special Edition is so named after most famed off road destination in Moab, Utah. This limited edition is based on Sahara model with a host of modifications which make it suitable for offroading enthusiasts. It includes 17" Rubicon alloy wheels with 245/75R17 tyres of Goodyear Silent Armor with Kevlar reinforcements. Interiors are also done up remarkably with black and saddle premium leather with black accents and Moab distinctively embossed on instrument panel. This limited edition is available either in a two door Wrangler or a four door Wrangler Unlimited edition and offered in a choice of Crush, Dozer, Rock Lobster, Gecko Black and Bright White paint options.
