Japanese Nissan Sunny exported to the US is called Sentra. Nissan USA has officially revealed the all new 2013 Sentra. Nissan Sentra is one of the roomiest sedans in the segment and the new model has an interior space of 111.0 cubic feet, thanks to this, in India, the Sunny is promoted with a tagline, It's not a CAR, It's a CAAAR.
2013 Nissan Sunny / Sentra has a longer wheelbase and overall length while it is a bit shorter that the previous model. Though the Nissan Sentra is larger than its previous model, it has a lightweight sturdy structure which makes it 5% lighter than the previous model.
Interiors have been based on the 2013 Altima and include features like a 6 way manual driver seat and a 4 way manual driver seat. Features also include an air conditioner with an in cabin micro filter, power windows and power door locks as also a music system with AM/FM and CD functionalities have also been incorporated.
Optional features include a high end audio system with 4.3 inch touch screen, automatic temperature control, Nissan Navigation system with Pandora radio features. Once can also choose from a Nissan rearview monitor, a Nissan intelligent key as also audio and video sharing features supported by in-built Bluetooth functionality.
The car is available in 8 trim levels which are equipped with CVT transmission systems. The new Nissan Sentra will be powered by a 1.8l inline four petrol engine which is capable of producing 130hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. Its aerodynamic design allows for a fuel efficient drive which returns 34 mpg combined for all its models/variants. Redesigned front and rear bumpers coupled with fog lights, 17 inch alloy wheels, chrome tail pipe and sport cloth seats provide an elegant and revolutionary design to the 2013 nissan Sentra.
