LIQUI MOLY looking to promote international business through the Automechanika Trade Fair in Frankfurt

IQUI MOLY founded in 1957 holds the patent of molybdenum disulphide lubricant as its main product. This additive or lubricant was the very first product which gave this company's its name. Over the years since 1957, LIQUI MOLY has come a long way and has a number of assorted products under its brand. It has performed well in markets and has been able to conquer the whole German market. This company doesn't look at challenges with surprise but takes them up in its stride and aims to make the most of them. Keeping in mind this determined nature of the company to be the best, it comes as no surprise to hear that it has decided to steer its operations globally. This is evident as the company will be represented with a large booth at the Automechanika Trade Fair in Frankfurt. With over 400 sq meters of floor pace, the company looks to capitalize on building bonds with clients and thereby expand its service globally.

Though it may sound temerarious that this company is visioning itself as a leader in the world market, one can't overlook the fact that it has grown by leaps and bounds. Current Sales turnover has doubled since the past five years and this has enabled the company to reign over the German markets. In addition to this, LIQUI MOLLY has been adjudged best oil brand by readers of four top German automobile magazines.

At its booth this year, the company will be putting on display a number of new products that have been tried and tested. Among these products is a diesel additive that prevents particulate matter from forming, thereby allowing a longer service life of the particulate filter module. Other than this, researchers have also developed a TBN booster which helps prevent excessive formation of sulphuric acid which allows for a 25% in oil life. Researchers have also developed new grades of motor oils that will be rolled out for commercial vehicles.

Quality made in Germany is this company motto for success. It can be seen that there is not only a select number of motor grade oils for vehicles, but each and every vehicle has specifically designed oils which will serve it well. Apart from motor oil, there are also additives which can be used to keep the engine free and in turn increase its service life. Motor oils and additives aren't only the products that LIQUI MOLLY manufactures it also has a wide range of car care essentials and service products required to maintain your vehicle. The range of products available with this company is far more than any other manufacture in this sector.

In order to make things interesting at the fair, demonstrations will be shown to customers to educate them on how to use certain LIQUI MOLLY products. Technical information on products or car care can be got from one of the many engineers and technicians to help solve problems related to your vehicle. Through this trade fair, the company hopes to focus it goals on the international market. It aims to make new contacts and at the same time cement existing contacts.

News release: Vision: World Market Leader

The motor oil and additive producer LIQUI MOLY has never hesitated to accept ambitious challenges. After conquering its home market in Germany, it is now focusing on international business. Here LIQUI MOLY intends to develop into the global market leader for motor oil, announced Business Manager and Owner Ernst Prost as his vision for the next decade. One rung on this ladder to success is the 400 square meter booth at this year's Automechanica Trade Fair in Frankfurt (Germany).

Envisioning itself as the world's market leader may sound temerarious, because here a family company has to compete with multi-billion dollar companies. But looking a LIQUI MOLY's development in the past, it no longer sounds so brash.Turnover has nearly doubled over the last five years. On the German aftermarket, LIQUI MOLY is already one of the market leaders. And this year readers of no less than four German automobile magazines have selected LIQUI MOLY as the best oil brand.

This brand strength is not a matter of chance. In 2012 LIQUI MOLY will again be represented by a large booth at the Automechanica. With over 400 square meters of floor space the company will present itself in the entry area of Hall 9.1 at booth C06 -a major appearance at the world's largest trade fair for the aftermarket. Newly developed products will also be on display. This includes a diesel additive to ensure that the particulate filter does not clog up so quickly, thus increasing its service life. For countries with a high percentage of sulfur in their fuel, LIQUI MOLY researchers have developed the TBN Booster: In the engine oil this oil additive inhibits formation of sulfuric acid. This allows an increase in oil change intervals of up to 25 percent. And in terms of the motor oils themselves, a whole series of recently advanced and completely new grades will be introduced for commercial vehicles.

Quality made in Germany is the basis of LIQUI MOLY's recipe for success. This quality can be inspected in detail at the fair over the entire band width of over 4,000 different products. LIQUI MOLY's line includes more than just a few different grades of motor oil; it offers the RIGHT motor oil for virtually every car. Then come the additives, for example for keeping the engine clean and thereby increasing its service life. In addition to motor oils and additives, which are the two most important lines, LIQUI MOLY also offers car care products, service products, all materials and tools for replacing windshields, various types of grease, pastes and much more. Hardly any other manufacturer in the automotive sector offers such a wide range.

And, of course, the formula for success also includes comprehensive customer service - at the Automechanika as well. At its booth, LIQUI MOLY will offer demonstrations, and applications engineers will be available for tips on how to get more out of the products and help you solve any technical problems.

The 'Automechanika' is a true crystallization point for the branch and a very good barometer for its mood', stated Ernst Prost. At this event LIQUI MOLY has continuously shifted its focal point in the direction of international business during the last few years. This trade fair helps to make new acquaintances and cement existing contacts. 'Even in our highly technological world, business remains a relationship between humans', confirmed Ernst Prost. We experience the various requirements and desires of our customers around the world. Ernst Prost: 'LIQUI MOLY is a global family. We look forward to every new member in our group. We are certain to win over one or another at the Automechanika.'

The Automechanika will take place from the 11th to 16th of September in Frankfurt (Germany). LIQUI MOLY can be found in hall 9.1 at booth C06.

To debut the new logo "Van" Fiat Professional created by Fiat Style Centre

To meet the demands in urban goods transport, Fiat Professional presents the new Panda Van - heir to the best seller of the 1A segment of Car Derived Van - which combines performance, handling and car-like comfort with generous, easy loading, and the reliability and low operating costs, typical of a commercial vehicle.

Produced at the Giambattista Vico plant in Pomigliano d'Arco (Naples), the most compact commercial vehicle for Fiat Professional is the perfect answer for those who spend long hours driving or need to make deliveries, such as postal services, maintenance, service companies, craftsmen, etcetera.

At launch, the range consists of two trim levels (Pop and Easy 2-seater to 4 seater), both available with front-wheel drive and two engines: the 1.3 16v Multijet turbodiesel with 75 bhp and 69 bhp 1.2 Fire petrol. Original styling and compact exterior dimensions

The new Panda Van has a modern and distinctive design that combines dynamics, compact and light fastness and robustness of a half of work. The small external dimensions - 3.65 meters long, 1.55 high and 1.64 meters wide - to get you through any city center with ease, thanks to a turning circle between curbs just 9.3 meters.

The front and rear bumpers standard black textured version for two seats (optional in body color) make the Panda Van even more like a small commercial vehicle. The tinted rear glass (standard version two places) provide greater privacy and security to the goods transported in the cargo area. Similarly, among the options available, it indicates the "roller cover cargo" - available from October - which completely hides the goods.

Complete the offer a wide range of body colors available: 9 colors outside and a list of non-standard colors in line with the demands of large fleets. The interiors are offered in 2 variants combined with 2 different seat fabrics.

Finally, created by Fiat Style Centre, the new model debuts on Logo "Van" that sums up this line of product: in fact, is "clear and simple" and expresses thanks to the original symmetry of forms, "flexibility and versatility . In short, this small symbol shows the strength of design as a concept to "useful things beautiful": a value that characterizes the entire range of Fiat Professional.

Load compartment large and functional

Although compact external dimensions, the new Panda has a spacious cargo compartment and rational - the volume is about 1 cubic meter (for the version with 2 seats) and the maximum inner length can exceed 1.2 meters - which characterized by the adoption of an innovative platform " floor easy . "

In fact, with the new Panda Van, Fiat Professional overcomes the inherent limitations of small commercial vehicles "Car Derived" introducing for the first time that this solution eliminates the gap between cargo and wire the tailgate so you can easily load the same way a "real" commercial vehicle. At the same time, the ' easy floor provides ample space under the floor to keep your valuables by removing them from prying eyes. Among other things, it is possible to access the underlying spaces comfortably lifting the platform, which in turn may be maintained in the open position by means of a coupling to the bulkhead.

Another novelty of the cargo floor is made of plastic honeycomb that provides better performance in terms of strength, durability and sound absorption, besides providing a lighter weight and greater respect for the environment (on the previous Panda Van was used in the plywood). In addition, more than its predecessor, the new Panda Van has been improved both accessibility from the rear hatch - for example, have reduced the overhead bin on the present version of the car - the protection of the inner sides of the cargo through the adoption of a coating material needled. To illuminate the compartment is standard a ceiling light, placed on the roof and, upon request, you can have additional side removable ceiling that can be used as a torch which is recharged when connected to its fixed support.

Finally, to further emphasize the character of a commercial vehicle, new Panda Van features a robust bulkhead to protect driver and passengers from loads spilling over into the cabin. In particular, there are two different types of bulkhead separation - a specification for version 2 seats and the other specifies the version 4 places - besides taking four strong rings for holding the goods in accordance with DIN 75410 - 2.

The interior retains all the features instead of the Panda in "car" offering the convenience pleasant as useful even to those who use the cabin as a "traveling office". In addition, the customer benefits from Panda Van attention given to ergonomics, acoustic comfort, temperature and vibration as well as all content provided on request, including the modern audio-telematic system that includes radio with CD/MP3 player and Kit Hands-free Bluetooth (Blue & Me).

Efficient, reliable engines for any mission

The new Panda Van is also synonymous with 'efficiency and productivity "and the customer will result in operating costs (fuel consumption, servicing intervals and repair costs) really low, associated with good acceleration and elasticity at low speeds even with a full load. Achieved by the two Euro 5 engines available: the 69 bhp 1.2 petrol and turbodiesel 1.3 Multijet 75 bhp.

In particular, the 1.3 16v Multijet - the smallest and most advanced diesel engines with direct injection "Common Rail" second generation - highlights a significant reduction in consumption (3.9 l/100 km in the NEDC combined cycle compared to 4, 2 l/100 km of the previous generation) and, consequently, emissions (the CO 2 is only 104 g / km compared to the 109 g / km of the previous model).

Combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the diesel delivers a 75 bhp (55 kW at 4000 r / min) of maximum power and torque of 19.4 kgm (190 Nm at 1500 r / min), ensuring excellent performance: the Top speed is 168 km / h.

Compact and technologically sophisticated, the 1.3 16v Multijet engine is a part for the environment thanks to innovative solutions for the treatment of exhaust gases which trap particulate DPF-Ups (Close Coupled Diesel Particulate Filter) and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) integrated , which improves control of temperature and gas flow, simultaneously guaranteeing lower emissions and reduced fuel consumption. The 1.3 Multijet 16v, 75 of the new Panda Van offers standard start-stop device that temporarily turns off the engine and restarts it in order to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of CO 2 .

Complete range of engines the 1.2 69 bhp EVO II, the latest evolution of the FIRE family that boasts over 10 million units produced. The engine was developed paying particular attention to performance and fuel consumption as shown by the power of 69 hp at 5500 r / min and torque of 102 Nm at 3,000 g / min. Coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox, the engine is brilliant (the maximum speed is 164 km / h) but at the same time sparing: NEDC combined cycle consumes 5.2 l/100 km with only 120 g / km CO 2 .

In the coming months, the range of Panda Van will be expanded with the introduction of the 4x4 versions available-0.9 TwinAir Turbo engines with 85 bhp and 75 bhp 1.3 Multijet 16V - 0.9 TwinAir Turbo engines and Natural Power 80 bhp (petrol / methane) and 1.2 easypower 69 bhp (petrol / LPG). In particular, the integral transmission to enable the automatic insertion Panda Van to meet the needs of those users - for example fleets - which must ensure that transport and mobility in all conditions. And in keeping with the constant attention paid by Fiat Professional towards sustainable urban mobility, the bi-fuel engines Panda Van exceed the compromises typical of these variants due to the solution " easy floor "that allows you to keep the same load capacity of the vehicle 'Origin: 1,000 liters in volume.

Suspension and strong capacity in their class

The new Panda can count on a robust and reliable suspension layout: MacPherson strut front, torsion beam rear to provide excellent dynamic performance and great handling. The particular tuning specific to the version Van, with loads allowed up to 855 kg front and up to 780 kg at the rear allows you to have a capacity including the driver at the top of the class: up to 500 kg. This performance, combined with the characteristics of the load, we can say that the new Panda Van is not a simple derivation from the car, but a "real" commercial vehicle compact. All this without forgetting the pleasure of driving, which is always one of the strengths of the Fiat Professional range.

Safety First class

Even with regard to the new Panda Security Van is at the top of its class. This is demonstrated by a wealth of standard features that, in addition to an excellent performance braking system with ABS complete with BAS (Brake Assist System), includes 4 standard airbags (front and side), and front seatbelts with pretensioners and force limiters load. Furthermore, depending on the market and version, is available as standard or optional ESC (Electronic Stability Control) including hill-holder system that helps the driver on hill starts keeping locked the brakes for about 2 seconds, thus facilitating the re-start .

Functionality and attention to detail for maximum passenger comfort

The new generation of Panda provides maximum comfort regardless of the location or operational mission to fulfill. Merit, for example, the large windows that provide outstanding overall visibility. Similarly, the seats comfortable and snug, have numerous adjustments that allow anyone to find the riding position more comfortable and accurate, thanks to the steering wheel adjustment (height and depth) and that of the front head "active" reduce whiplash in a collision.

Numerous storage compartments allow you to store personal and business documents, in particular, within the new bridge is now used as a handy "pocket" glove that adds to the classic locked drawer at the bottom of the dashboard. Another novelty of stylistic and functional new Panda that is most useful in the van version, is the particular shape of the parking brake which, thanks to its reduced longitudinal dimensions, allows to better exploit the space in front of and behind the lever, in addition to making accessible the surface directly below it. In short, all of these solutions transform the interior of Panda Van in a real workplace.

        Auto News Release

The new Husqvarna models TR 650 Terra and TR 650 Strada.

Husqvarna Motorcycles – road bikes and off-road bikes with a long tradition.

Husqvarna Motorcycles is an international manufacturer of off-road and on-road motorbikes. It was originally founded in Sweden and has been part of the BMW Group since 2007. Since this time, the innovative technological capabilities of Husqvarna Motorcycles have been dynamically strengthened, and on a lasting basis, through its alliance with BMW Motorrad.

The motorcycle brand with the Scandinavian roots, based today in Cassinetta di Biandronno in the northern Italian province of Varese, boasts a tradition of motorcycle manufacturing which stretches back more than 100 years, making Husqvarnas the oldest motorcycles in the world with an uninterrupted production record. In ten decades of company history, Husqvarna Motorcycles has been able to achieve outstanding success in international off-road racing, with 82 World Championship titles to its name to date. In road racing, Husqvarna was successful in the 1920s and 1930s, so it was a logical step to set about expanding today's product range in the on-road arena once again.

Husqvarna re-entered the road bike segment in 2011 with the presentation of the Husqvarna Nuda 900 and Husqvarna Nuda 900 R models. These models, developed in collaboration with BMW Motorrad, likewise display Husqvarna's typical pure, athletic and dynamic styling. The brand most recently provided a look ahead to further extension of the model range with the Husqvarna Concept MOAB, Husqvarna Concept Strada and Husqvarna Concept BAJA studies.

With the new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra, Husqvarna Motorcycles continues its model offensive that began last year with the successful launch of its road models.

Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra – two powerful characters for on-road and off-road riding.

With the new TR 650 Strada and the new TR 650 Terra, Husqvarna Motorcycles extends its program of highly agile, dynamic single-cylinder motorcycles by adding two attractive new machines.

Their slim, wiry stature and masculine, dynamic design gives the new Husqvarna TR 650 models a progressive, light and energetic look, whether as the "Terra" version for light terrain or as the "Strada" version for asphalt-based motorcycling fun. At the same time, the two new Husqvarna models are clearly set apart from their competitors with their outstanding overall package of handling and riding dynamics as well as in terms of design. Along with their relatively low weight, a powerful single-cylinder engine and an agile, directionally-stable chassis they embody the passion of motorcycling and the fascinating world of Husqvarna Motorcycles.

Outstandingly powerful single-cylinder engine in the BMW Motorrad mould.

In terms of engine technology, the TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra rely on the tried and tested basis of the G 650 GS by BMW Motorrad. However, this liquid-cooled single-cylinder power unit with two overhead camshafts and 652 cc was extensively modified and its performance significantly enhanced for use in the two new Husqvarna models. It delivers 43 kW (58 hp) at 7,250 rpm, developing its maximum torque of 60 Nm at 5,750 rpm. For those countries with graduated licencing, there is also there is also a reduced power version on offer as an ex works option with 35 kW (48 hp) at 7,250 rpm and 54 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm.

The single-cylinder engine has been modified with a wide range of measures to hone it for its athletic, dynamic purpose. In addition to various other improvements, such features as a modified electronic fuel-injection system, altered camshafts and an increased compression ratio due to modified piston and cylinder head geometries ensure powerful propulsion, high revving and spontaneous response. Nonetheless, with its exhaust system in stainless steel including two rear silencers and a closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter, the engine provides not just an especially high level of single-cylinder riding fun but also excellent fuel efficiency and environmental compatibility.

In conjunction with the constant-mesh 5-speed gearbox, the powerful and high-revving single-cylinder engine in the Husqvarna TR 650 Strada puts in an especially impressive performance on country roads, while a full torque curve and spontaneous response also allow supreme off-road excursions over light terrain on the TR 650 Terra.

Robust, high-quality chassis for riding fun both on and off the road.

The new Husqvarna models TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra are able to rely on an agile chassis based on a split-backbone tubular steel frame with remove-able rear frame and front beam bolted to the engine.

Front guidance and suspension duties are dealt with by a torsionally-stiff 46 millimetre upside-down telescopic fork. The rear wheel is controlled by a torsionally-stiff dual swing arm made of pentagonal steel tubing in conjunction with a centrally-mounted rear shock with progressive linkage. In keeping with its use on asphalted roads, the Husqvarna TR 650 Strada has cast wheels made of aluminium while the TR 650 Terra reflects its off-road suitability with a centrally-mounted rear shock with progressive linkage. Generous suspension travel of 190 millimetres at the front and rear makes for easy handling and a high level of directional stability combined with excellent comfort and off-road qualities.

TR 650 Strada fitted as standard with ABS. TR 650 Terra with ABS as an optional feature.

To match the dynamic performance available, the brake system consists of a single-disc brake at front and rear which offers supremely solid stopping power. The new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada is fitted as standard with ABS, while the new Husqvarna TR 650 Terra can likewise feature ABS if this is ordered as an ex works option. The ABS is disengageable for special uses.

Masculine shaping in dynamic, Italian design.

To reflect their high level of riding dynamics, the lines of the new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra have been given a particular dynamic emphasis in terms of design. Although they embody masculine athleticism, their clearly-defined shaping nonetheless conveys a sense of agility and lightness. While the light-alloy cast wheels in the TR 650 Strada embody the active riding character of a road bike, the spoke wheels combined with a high fender on the front wheel reveal the dual sport ambitions of the TR 650 Terra.

The two new Husqvarna models have a robust, masculine appearance through selective use of black-coated chassis elements such as frame and swingarm.  In addition, red side trim elements for the TR 650 Terra, and a black side panel for the TR 650 Strada, in combination with the Strada's low white front fender, lend a unique appearance to each.

The bikes' high aspirations in terms of riding dynamics are underscored by the light-gray sand-cast engine cases, providing a fascinating technical contrast in conjunction with the hallmark Husqvarna red cylinder head.  Further accents are provided the anodized-silver upside-down forks and the end caps of the twin exhausts, which proudly exhibit the Husqvarna logo.

The new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra are manufactured at the Husqvarna Motorcycles plant in Cassinetta di Biandronno, northern Italy.
