Bajaj Pulsar 200NS now in Karnataka after Maharahstra and Delhi

Bajaj Pulsar 200NS heads for Karnataka markets after seeing success both in Maharashtra and Delhi. The bike will be priced at Rs.85,863 (ex showroom) and the company expects to follow suit with a Chennai launch by mid July while the entire country will be covered by end of September 2012.

Bajaj Auto has not announced any export plans for the present. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS – NS meaning Naked Sports which only demonstrates its muscular stance and aggressive manifestation of the new offering from the stables of Bajaj. The bike is fitted with a 6 speed gearbox with liquid cooling system.

It is capable of 23.5 PS power at 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm torque at 8000 rpm. Speed from 0 to 60 kmph will be achieved in 3.61 seconds while that from 0 to 100 kmph will take 9.83 seconds with a top speed of 136 kmph making it one of the fastest motorcycles manufactured by an Indian manufacturer. Dry weight of the bike will be 145 kgs and fuel efficiency will be at 58 kmpl when driven at a constant speed of 55 kmph.
