2012 San Diego Comic-Con International, went live yesterday evening at the San Diego Convention Center. On display, near the Hard Rock Cafe, is the futuristic vehicle from the movie Elysium which opens in theaters from 1st March 2013 and stars Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster,Wagner Moura, William Fichtner, Alice Braga, Diego Luna. The film is directed by Neill Blomkamp (District 9 fame).
The Bugatti in images here has been modified as a spaceship which will be used as one of the several futuristic vehicles in the movie Elysium. Matt Damon is a man on a mission to take care of a plot of land in outer space which has been captured by wealthy citizens of the world.
Neill Blomkamp, along with Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, will be unveiling Bugatti spaceship and much more officially at the 2012 Comic Con tomorrow. Sadly, passes have already been sold out.
Synopsis of Elysium is as follows: In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Rhodes (Jodie Foster), a hard line government of?cial, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in, by any means they can. When unlucky Max (Matt Damon) is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that, if successful, will not only save his life, but could bring equality to these polarized worlds.
