100 year old Rolls Royce becomes the second costliest Rolls Royce ever: Auctioned for $7.2 million

A  Rolls Royce previously purchased in 1912 for just £1,000 ($1,551), made its way to the auction tables of Bonhams in 2012. Expected to fetch a cool £2 million ($3 million), to everyone's amazement, hammer fell at a staggering £4.7 million ($7.2 million) to an anonymous bidder. This 100 year old Rolls Royce's last owner was killed in an accident.
