San Diego Convention Centre (SDCC) Bayfront Park will play host to Comic Con International during which Warner Bros have plans of displaying all six Batmobiles. Bayfront Park is located between San Diego Convention Centre and Hilton Bayfront Hotel. This 60,000 sq ft outdoor entertainment event will see live performances, screenings and talent shows along with TV entertainment magazine Extra. The event will be held from July 12 to 14, 2012. Extra at Comic Con will be live while stars from the Big Bang Theory, Fringe, The Vampire Diaries and others will appear live on stage.
It is at this arena that Warner Bros will be introducing special edition of TV Guide Magazine with four sets of collectible flip covers while all six Batmobiles including Tumbler from the Dark Knight Rises will also be on display. These six Batmobiles will be in a special enclosure called Batcave where all 6 Batmobiles will be on display while offering visitors a chance to view these much talked about vehicles.
Among these six offerings will be Adam West's 1955 Lincoln Futura, Michael Keaton's Batmobile features in 1989 Batman and 1992 Batman Returns, revamped model of Joel Schumacher's 1995 Batman Forever, updated model used in 1997 Batman and Robin and latest Tumbler used in 2005 Batman Begins and 2008 The Dark Knight. A highlight of the show will be Camouflage Tumbler which will be seen at 2012 Dark Knight Rises which will open in theatres on July 20th.
