By 2015, the BMW Group will be investing an additional £250 million ($387 million) into manufacturing operations in their Oxford plant in UK. Oxford plant will provide special MINI production details specially in terms of high complexities, as per customer's specifications. This further investment follows the £500 million ($774 million) which the company announced in June 2011 and this will cement job opportunities for 5,500 UK associates working at the MINI UK Triangle plants.
