Formula 1 gets ready for upgraded Silverstone: Fans asked to avoid British GP qualifying due to heavy rains

This year's events will be the 46th British GP to be conducted on this circuit ever since the circuit hosted the first RAC International GP in 1948. Last year 315,000 people attended the race on three consecutive days while this year, the rain is going to play spoilsport. The stands have an enormous seating capacity which has been extended this year with the addition of two new grandstands.
