Renault Fluence Sport sedan launched in Argentina at $35,000

Renault Fluence Sport has been launched in Argentina. The new sport variant from the French car maker is powered by a 2.0L petrol engine generating 180 hp and 221 Nm torque. It will be fitted with 17 inch alloy wheels and stylish bumpers. Fluence Sport will sport xenon headlights, ESP fog lights and an electric sun roof and interiors will have a Renault Sport inspired steering wheel and classic black leather upholstered seats.

A TomTom sat nav will be standard, along with electric mirrors, stability control, traction control and two zone climate control. However, the company is launching this vehicle with the exclusive aim of presenting it to upcoming markets of Latin American buyers while buyers across Europe will have a long wait ahead.

Renault Fluence Sport will be fitted with a 2.0 liter four cylinder gasoline engine. It will  have capacities to speed from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kmph) in 8.6 seconds which does not say very much about its performance and maximum speed too is limited to just 132 mph (211 kmph) while the fuel consumption in an average cycle is 8.1 liters every 100 km (12.34 kmpl).

Fluence will be made available through host of Renault dealers in Latin America and will be priced in a range of 158,700 pesos or $35,000.
