A small, compact and economically priced diesel car at a time like this is just what the doctor ordered. Maruti Suzuki has announced launch of their new and refreshed Ritz diesel with prices starting at Rs.5.31 lakhs. As per company estimates Ritz will be highly fuel efficient, 10% more than predecessor and will offer mileage of 23.2 kmpl. Ritz will be available in two tone interiors and will be fitted with a new audio system with USB, electronically adjustable mirrors and information display on its instrument panel.
Ritz diesel with a new ZDi engine will be priced at Rs.6.23 lakhs. This will feature alloy wheels, dual front air bags and audio controls mounted on the steering wheel. The company is confident of its acceptability in the market primarily due to its fuel efficiency which comes when fuel prices are being increased once too often for commuter's comforts.
Besides this factor, it is the Ritz driving comforts which will also attract buyers while its attractive colors of Mystique Red, Granite Grey and Breeze Blue add to its charm. Ex showroom Delhi prices for Ritz LDi will be Rs.5.31 lakhs, Ritz VDi will be Rs.5.64 lakhs, Ritz VDi with ABS will cost Rs.5.82 lakhs while the top model Ritz ZDi will be priced at Rs.6.23 lakhs.
