Earlier at the Chicago Auto Show, Mopar announced four custom vehicles - 2012 Mopar Jeep Compass 'True North', 2012 Fiat 500 'Stinger', 2013 Dodge Dart 'GTS 210 Tribute' and lastly Mopar '12 300, which has now arrived at dealer showrooms across US. Only 500 models of Mopar '12 Chrysler 300s have been produced each of which will be priced at $50,525, including handling and destination charges, while the company is confident all 500 will disappear very quickly.
Celebrating 75th anniversary, Chrysler Mopar 300 limited edition will be all painted in a black exterior finish with black chrome grill and accents, tinted lights and blue pin stripes on the hood. It will possess Mopar 75 fender badges and matching 20" alloy wheels.
The vehicle will retain its 363 hp 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine mated to a five speed auto transmission. Enhanced acceleration will ensure that the company sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 5 second range. Suspension has been enhanced and receives 42% stiffer front and 23% stiffer rear springs which will help in better grip and braking.
Its interiors are seen with Mopar Blue accents, Mopar Katzkin perforated leather, leather rimmed steering wheel with die cast paddle shifters and a new Mopar manual shifter. The limited edition is also fitted with a new Uconnect system with an 8.4 inch touchscreen, connectivity and multimedia features and 506 watt Alpine nine speaker audio system besides the entire gamut where safety features are concerned.
