Peugeot 301 will be seen in markets of Turkey, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia Ukraine, Greece and Middle East from the 1st of November 2012 before branching off into other Gulf, African and Latin American countries and finally China and India. The company is yet to disclose prices of this compact sedan which will measure 4440 cms in length with a boot capacity of 506 liters.
It will be available in three engine options with the entry level being a 1.2 liter VTi with 71 bhp, also available with be a 1.6 liter VTi engine producing 115 bhp while a 1.6 liter HDi engine with 92 bhp will also be released. All engine options are capable of highest level of performance even under various driving and climatic conditions depending on each of the countries where it is released. Peugeot 301 once it is released in the market will have to contend with the likes of the new Skoda Rapid, Seat Toledo and Citroen C-Elysee.
