Renault Duster which was recently launched in India. The new Renault SUV matches in features with other SUVs in its segment but one thing lacking is the option of 7 seats. This has made the company sit up and take notice. Renault is planning on launching a seven seater variant of Duster SUV, especially for India. Till date, only four seater and 2 seater variants of Duster SUV's were available, but just for India, there will now be a 7 seater as well.
Twin jump seats have been added to the third row and customers can avail of this facility as an optional accessory through company dealers. These jump seats can be installed in the third row of the SUV and can be folded down when not in use especially when excess space is required in the luggage compartment and while traveling with fewer passengers. However it must be noted that this third row of jump seats does not offer a very comfortable ride.
Buyers in India want value for money and are very conscious of what they get. Demand are high for additional space and extra seating and hence Renault has to bend over backwards to comply with customer's demands. Renault Duster is offered in petrol engine of 104 PS and Diesel engine of 85 PS and 110 PS with prices ranging from Rs.7.19 lakhs to Rs.11.29 lakhs.
