VDA QMC, the German Association of Automotive Industry - Quality-Management-Center has tied up with TÜV SÜD South Asia- Academy Division to deliver approved VDA 6.3 training and qualification modules to their clients in India. Through this program automotive auditors will receive training on some of the basic doctrines and auditing process for the auto sector. Examinations will be held at the end of these training sessions.
Through this training auto auditors will be given training in the various processes of auto auditing and can be used both for internal as well as external audit systems. German Automotive OEMs have found this system of audit to be highly effective. It was earlier revised in 2010 to absorb changes to ISO 9001:2008 standards and be effective for individual customer's requirements.
VDA QMC provides all the training and all material used for exams. There are over 2000 VDA 6.3 auditors who have passed these examinations through VDA QMC. TÜV SÜD South Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of the TÜV SÜD Group which has been operational in India ever since 2008. Training is offered ranging from one day programs to programs and training of longer duration not only to the auto sector but also to the engineering, textile, food, obstruction and natural resources sectors.
