Lamborghini's new showroom opening at Newport Beach, California was honored by the presence of Sesto Elemento. This will be the first time that Sesto Elemento or Sixth Element was showcased at an opening of a showroom. Lamborghini first unveiled Sesto Elemento at the Paris Motor Show in 2010. Earlier this month, at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, this same lambo was on display along with their concept SUV, Urus.
Sesto Elemento is a light weight and high performance sports car which sports a V10 engine generating 570 bhp. Lamborghini has managed to restrict the weight of this car at just 999 kgs, which helps in accelerating from 0-100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds. It is the extensive use of carbon fiber seen in its construction that makes this vehicle extremely lightweight. Sesto Elemento was made with the help of Lamborghini's Advanced Composites Research Centre in Italy and as on date is the only one in existence.
Sesto Elemento, once launched, will carry a price of $2.2 million and will be limited to only such models. This new showroom in California was honored not only with this prized model on display but also with a special appearance by Stephen Winkelmann – CEO of Lamborghini.
