As the new Nissan Micra ELLE goes on sale this September at prices from £12,000, it must be kept in mind that this will be a limited edition model restricted to only 500 units, all for UK markets. This model is specially created by Nissan along with fashion magazine ELLE. Nissan Micra ELLE will have all the trimmings that go hand in hand with a lifestyle magazine.
It will possess a panoramic glass roof, chrome interior accents, roof spoiler and fog lamps. Micra ELLE will ride on 15" titanium alloy wheels and will be available in a choice of three colors - Alabaster White, Shiraz Red and Atlas Blue. As an option, the company has also offered Nissan Connect integrated satellite navigation system.
The ELLE edition will have a 3 cylinder 1.2 liter gasoline engine offering 79 hp while its 1.2 liter DIG-S gasoline engine will offer 96 hp, CO2 emissions are restricted to 99 g/km. This engine will have 104 lb/ft torque and acceleration from 0 to 62mph will be possible in 11.3 seconds reaching a maximum speed of 112 mph. Distinctive ELLE magazine badges will be seen on tailgate and front wings while also continuing indoors to front floor mats and front door guards.
