NeilPryde bikes have extended their range by incorporating a new blend of bike technology with the inclusion of the Bayamo and Bayamo+. These bikes join the Alize and Diablo bikes, which were launched in the year 2010 and have done quite well in the market. The new bike, Bayamo has bee designed keeping in mind requirements of time trial athletes. A light weight, high performance, aero dynamic body has been used to design this bike.
The bikes frame has been made using C6.7 carbon fiber which gives a light weight yet high performance quality to this bike. The bike looks flat when one views it from the side, but it looks thin and light when viewed from the rear. 'Kamm' tail at the rear and character lines on the frame of this bike have been designed keeping in mind fluid dynamics and wind speed testing. Drive train and gear cables are incorporated within the frame so as to give the bike a strong aero dynamic profile.
NeilPryde bikes exclusive QFit stem design has been used to provide for suitable rider support that can be adjusted based on height and drive angle. The Bayamo frameset will be priced at $2750 while the Bayamo+ frameset will be priced at $5,000. A complete time trial athlete bike package will be priced between $3,095 and $10000.
