2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV arrives in US

The new 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has officially made its entrance in the US sooner than expected. Externally, Outlander Sport is seen with a new front and rear look, black side sills and 18" alloy wheels. Internally the vehicle is done up in new fabrics and colors and additional chrome fitting are seen along with all wheel control and push button switches.

Optional equipment will include adaptive cruise control, a collision warning system and lane departure warning system with xenon headlights.Prices begin from $19,170 with additional destination and handling charges. Prices are a good $375 over its predecessor. The company has announced that production of the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander will be shifted to US at the company plat in Normal, Illinois.

Enhanced performance is seen in the current version of Outlander which contributes to 148 hp. It is fitted with a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine mated to a continuous variable transmission. Available with 4WD, this will be the first for all equipped entry level version of Mitsubishi Outlander. Outlander Sport SE will be available with 2WD or driver selected electronically controlled 4WD system and the same all wheel drive system seen on the Mitsubishi Outlander SE midsized cross over.
