ATS vs. the World advertisement campaign is debuting during the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympic Games slated for July 27th. Cadillac is on the brink of taking on the world when it comes to cars in the small and luxury segment. The company is planning a new 2013 ATS which is expected to compete in a segment which is ruled by Audi, BMW and Mercedes Benz. This TV commercial for ATS during the Olympic Games will give the company a head start as the new commercial is also posted on a YouTube video titled "Cadillac vs. The World Trailer.
Shot by Joe Berlinger and film maker Jeff Zwart this new commercial showcases the ATS traverse through the streets of Monaco and to mountain trails of China and Morocco. Derek Hill, son of racer Phil Hill is seen at controls while Ross Thomas, actor and film maker acts as commentator and is seen in the passenger seat.
Cadillac ATS is expected to be seen in company showrooms later this year while prices are expected in $35,795 to $42,090 bracket. ATS entry level model will have a 2.5 liter four cylinder 202 hp engine and will be priced at $35,795 while the top end model will be priced at $42,090 and will be fitted with a 3.6 liter V6 engine having 320 hp power.
"'ATS vs. the World' is about the compelling performance of the car," Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing, said in a statement. "That inspired us to create this unique creative platform to present ATS to luxury consumers in a big, new and engaging way."
