Mattias Ekstrom, Audi driver beat Jamie Green at the Munich Olympiastadion held on Sunday. Green raced in a DTM Mercedes AMG C Coupe and came in second while Bruno Spengler (BMW) and Gary Paffett (Mercedes Benz came in third. What was special about these events was that there were two cars per manufacturer which was held on Saturday where over 45000 spectators trekked all the way to Olympiapark to see BMW, Mercedes Benz and Audi contend against each other.
Sunday's events saw two drivers at one of the two parallel tracks which added to the thrill of the overall dangerous and risky game. Spectators were witness to a number of antiques on the track and even the weather played sport despite occasional showers. However a damp track added to the thrill of the game.
For top two winners Mattias Ekstrom and Martin Tomczyk it was a close finish with only 90 thousandth of a second separating them which finally saw Ekstrom a winner and Tomszyk who was defeated in front of his home crowd in Germany.
