2013 Ford C-MAX hybrid enhanced fuel efficiency over Toyota Prius v: 570 miles against 450 miles in a single tank of gas

One may have thought that the Toyota Prius v is a record breaking fuel efficient vehicle with its 450 miles on a single tank of fuel. However the soon to be launched 2013 Ford C-MAX is super efficient at 570 miles on a single tank of fuel. The vehicle gets set for launch this fall when it will be proved whether the vehicle lives up to expectations.

Ford states that their new Ford C –MAX Hybrid offers 47 mpg in city limits and 47 mpg on the highway which is a whole 7 mpg higher than what the Toyota Prius v offers thus resulting in 30% cost savings for customers. Where top speed is concerned, C-MAX is again a winner over the Toyota Prius v.

Here C-MAX offers a top speed of 62 mph in EV mode and 188 hp while Toyota Prius v possesses around 140 hp. C-MAX Hybrid is also expected to be launched at a base price of $25,995 which again competes with the Toyota Prius v which is priced $1,300 higher. Ford dealers have opened bookings for this vehicle worldwide.
