The Atom Ariel is a powerful package, but what if there was more to it? Designers at DDMWorks, South Carolina have capitalized on these low lying thoughts of us and have provided the Atom with a lot more power. The newly tuned Ariel atom has now been blessed with a 700 hp twin spark engine which undoubtedly better than the Bugatti Veyron when it comes to power to weight ratio.
This turbocharged-supercharged package has a number of modifications which include Darton mid sleeves, H-beam Carrillo rods as also ceramic coated Wiseco pitons and ARP hardware. The modified Ecotec 2.0L engine is tuned to dispatch an impressive 700 hp and considering that this one weighs just 657 kgs, we have a power to weight ratio of 1:1.06.
Custom 275 mm wide tires 17x9 inches wheels have also been provided for this vehicle. The vehicle weighs about 675 kgs and is considerably lighter than most of the other top end racing vehicles available in markets today. The upgraded range of the Ariel Atom is available in three variant the 450bhp, 575 bhp and the 700 bhp.
