Automobili Lamborghini President & CEO Stephan Winkelmann was conferred the honor of Robb Report's 'Best of the Best Sports Car' trophy at Concourso Italiano Hall of Fame. This honor was given to him due to his outstanding work at the company from Sant'Agata Bolognese.
Winkelmann has been President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A since 2005. He has steered the company around and seen increased performance and sales in these seven years, well over the past 40 years, since the company came into existence in 1963.
However, true to his form, Winkelmann credited his entire team, customers and patrons for his success while he stepped up to accept the award from Concorso Italiano. Winkelmann's successes could be seen in V10 and V12 sports cars, Aventador LP700-4, Reventon and Sesto Elemento models and new technologies and systems that came into effect in past seven years such as full carbon fiber monocoque besides their ever growing network of dealerships across the globe.
