Lenovo has announced the launch of ThinkPad X131e, a laptop specifically designed for students. Keeping in mind varied needs and requirements of youth, Lenovo have come up with a rugged and durable laptop design that will bear the brunt of harsh everyday use, and daily transportation.
This laptop has a 11.6 inch LCD display that packs in a pixel resolution of 1366x768. ThinkPad X131e comes with Windows 7 out of the box, a pointing stick, 8GB RAM, and chiclet keyboard. You get up to 500GB for max HDD and 128GB for SSD. 720p video capture of the webcam is impressive.
Depending on requirement and budget, ThinkPad X131e will be available with Intel Celeron 877 and Intel Core i3-2367M (Intel HD Graphics) or AMD dual core E-300 and E2-1800 APUs (AMD Radeon Graphics). Protective features of this laptop include stainless steel brackets, enhanced HDD shock performance, dustless fan, tightly aligned keyboard, heavy duty AC adapter cable, and reinforced hinges.
