Mercedes Benz, through their exclusive dealers based in Kochi, Kerala have successfully unveiled the new Mercedes Benz B Class. Top movie stars Rima Kallingal and Remya Nambisan were called upon to formally unveil the vehicle for the Kerala markets and it will be marketed through Mercedes Benz exclusive dealers Rajasree Motors Pvt. Ltd.
Expected to be launched in the Indian luxury auto market by October 2012, the Mercedes Benz B Class should ber a sub Rs 25 lakhs price tag. It will possess features befitting a Mercedes Benz model and will offer better internal capacity. It will also sport Pre Safe Blind Spot and Lane Assist and will be powered by direct injection petrol engines. These include a 1.6 liter B180 with 122 bhp. It will have 16" alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, heated exterior mirrors, light assist and automatic light activation while driver's seat will have electric lumbar support.
Interior features will include an Audio 20 with 5.8 inch screen with USB, collision prevention assist, air conditioning, drivers knee bag, leather trimmed steering wheel and seat comfort package. Besides Mercedes Benz B Class 180 being offered from the company dealers in Kochi, the company is also planning to introduce 3S facilities at Kozhikode on Kannur road while further expanding and modernizing their setup at Thiruvanathapuram. The left hand drive B series that was unveiled at the Buddh International Circuit last month, was seen at their Mumabi dealership too.
