All new 2012 Mahindra Verito was launched in July end in the Indian auto market with prices varying from Rs.5.27 lakhs to Rs.7.14 lakhs for the petrol and diesel variants. With launch of the new look Verito sedan, the older Mahindra Verito version is being retired with the company already announcing immediately stopping its production.
Mahindra Verito competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire which sells for between Rs.4.88 lakhs to Rs.7.35 lakhs and Toyota Etios which sells for Rs.5.14 lakhs to Rs.8.23 lakhs. Mahindra Verito is competitive in price and performance with its 75PS petrol 1.4 liter engine and 65PS 1.5 liter diesel engines. The Verito also features the Mahindra logo, redesigned fog lamps, roof rails and side rub strips giving it a more distinct appeal
Interiors are done up with additional luxury features which include seats in front and rear in two toned upholstery, rear view mirrors are electrically controlled, power window switches exist on door panels while a 2-DIN music system with CD/MP3/USB/Aux-in compatibility are added for infotainment.
