Mercedes Benz has announced that their upcoming 2013 model of C Class will be introduced with a number of upgrades. For 2013 Model Year, C Class will be introduced in three grades – Executive SE, AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus. Where Executive SE is concerned, a new sports grille, 16" alloy wheels, Artico upholstery and LED daytime lights are offered.
All these upgrades will be priced at additional £35 over SE grade. Enhancements can also be availed through a new Luxury Package which is priced at £2,000. These include three louver grille with bonnet mounted star, 17" alloy wheels in a seven twin spoke design, folding exterior door mirrors, chrome trim on side, rear and shoulder and dimmed rear view mirror.
AMG Sports Plus with upgrades will include 18" bicolor AMG alloys, bi-Xenon front lights with intelligent light system and adaptive high beam assist. Also in the package are AMG support seats enhanced with Black Artico/Dinamica upholstery and accentuated with contrasting red stitching with matching seat belts and floor mats.
Besides upgrades in looks department the company has also added a few engine upgrades for the 2013 MY. Mercedes Benz C180 BlueEFFICIENCY 1.6 liter direct injection turbocharged petrol engine which offered 152 hp and 184 lb/ft torque will see the Saloon offering 47.9 mpg and 138g CO2/km while Estate will offer 47.9 mpg and 139 g CO2/km and lastly the Coupe model will offer 44.1 mpg and 149g CO2/km. Pricing will commence from £25,915 for the Saloon, £27,115 for Estate and £30,090 for Coupe.
