Audi and Bayern Munich complete a decade of togetherness

It is ten years since the partnership of Audi and FC Bayern Munich was announced. Since then these two auto majors have played a significant role together and in their individual capacities. Besides their combined contribution to the auto kingdom, these partners are also well into the sports arena. In July 2002 just three months after announcing their partnership with FC Bayern Munich, four Audi models were handed over to goalkeeper Oliver Kahn, midfield star Michael Ballack and goal hunter Giovane Elber along with coach Ottmar Hitzfeld.

Now in the tenth year of association, their partnership remains stronger than ever with many a moment spent on the football field. In a visit to Audi Forum in Ingolstadt Coach Jupp Heynckes, President Uli Hoeneß, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge- Chairman of the Board along with team of the German record championships received new company cars besides offering interviews, signing autographs and hosting a friendly match at Audi Sportpark.

Audi is not only associated with football but is equally active in their role at events like DTM and Ski World Cup. Players are taught how to handle their Audi vehicles with safety and dexterity. Audi Cup 2009 and 2011 held at Allianz Arena along with FC Bayern as hosts.
