The Continental GT speed is the fastest car produced by Bentley. Orders for this model are been taken with deliveries supposed to start by October this year. Bentley Continental GT Speed is powered by an engine capable of producing 616 bhp at 6,000 rpm while peak torque dispersed is about 800 Nm between 2,000 to 5,000 rpm. Combination of these two factors provides the new continental GT speed with a powerful powertrain which guarantees high performance. The ZF 8-speed Automatic Transmission allows this car to sprint from 0-100 kmph within 4.2 seconds.
Even though this is the most powerful Bentley, there is no doubt that the car has been manufactured keeping in mind design, suppleness and beauty that defines this brand. Use of carbon fiber and aluminum as also leather in the interiors of this car has helped to beautify the overall image of this vehicle. The interior of this vehicle holds a number of entertainment and infotainment systems. Features like GPS, CD player and eight speaker sound system as also a 15 GB hard disk drive are provided within this model.
The W12 engine being used in this edition has been tuned and designed so as to incorporate energy savings.
