German auto manufacturers, Mercedes Benz have formally launched their new CLS Shooting Brake in UK markets. Offered at an on road price of £49,360, this highly efficient vehicle will be presented in a choice of five versions which will include CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, for £49,360, CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY priced at £53,000, CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY AMG Sport for £ 52,370, the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY AMG Sport costing £55,995 and CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake at £83,030 pounds.
CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY AMG Sport will get the same 2.1 liter four cylinder diesel engine generating 204 PS and 500 Nm torque. CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY AMG Sport get a 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine generating 265 hp and 620 Nm torque.
The top variant, CLS 63 AMG will be fitted with a petrol 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine generating 518 hp and 720 Nm torque. Orders for these models will commence from September while deliveries are only expected to commence in November 2012.
