BMW Group's Designworks USA have been chosen to design the first class cabin and seating arrangement for Singapore Airlines new Boeing 777 300 ER. This plane will be pressed into service during the end of 2013 and work on its interiors will be conducted at Designworks USA at their Singapore studio while inputs will also be received from their other set ups in LA, Munich and Shanghai.
Together Singapore Airlines and BMW Group's Dreamworks USA will offer the ultimate in flying comforts. Interiors will be more spacious, atmosphere will be conducive for first class travel while seating itself will be offered in a range of colors, textiles and surfaces to pander to the needs of a demanding customer. Their designs will be so created thereby giving them the much needed privacy, storage space and enhanced seating comforts.
BMW Group's Dreamworks USA is well versed with the kind of demands put on them by Singapore Airlines. They have worked on similar projects with BMW and Rolls Royce Motor Cars besides Embraer Dassault and Boeing Business jets. The agency has over 40 years of experience in this sort of innovation. It became part of the BMW Group in 1995 and has studios in Los Angeles, Munich and Singapore with the Shanghai studio recently opened earlier this year.
