Rs 23.8 lakhs launch price for 7th gen Toyota Camry sedan in Indian auto market: Lead by Example

The much awaited Toyota Kirloskar Camry is being launched in India for a price of Rs 23.8 lakhs. Possessing a 2.5 liter dual VVT-I petrol engine which is capable of 181 PS power and 233 Nm torque, this vehicle is more powerful than its predecessor which was offering only 167 PS and 224 Nm. In order to assist performance, its engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission. Camry in its new avatar will be seen flanked with angular, sharp headlights, an enormous 5 slat chrome grille and interiors done up in a combination of both leather and wood. Highly fuel efficient, the Toyota Camry offers 12.1 kmpl as per ARAI.

One advantage that the new Camry will have over its competitors is the fact that its electronics and comfort factors are highly noteworthy. Cruise Control feature with an advanced trip computer will enable records of all data regarding trip distance, mileage, etc which will be an added advantage over its rivals.

Toyota has revealed that the company will be importing components for this new Camry as Completely Knocked Down kits. These kits will be assembled at the company manufacturing plant in Bidadi, Bangalore. This will relate to Toyota Kirloskar being able to keep a strict control over its price thus making the vehicle not only highly affordable but also that it will be able to compete against its two rivals Skoda Superb and VW Passat.The Camry has had 6 generations and across the globe, it has been applauded for quality, comfort and design. And now, the 7th generation Camry brings with it all this and much more.
