At 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance BMW AG is all excited about unveiling of their new Zagato Roadster. This two seater is being offered as the company's premier contribution since its new alliance with Zagato – a design and coach building firm. Earlier this year, BMW revealed their Zagato Coupe while the Roadster is set to attract some sophisticated customers once it makes its way into company showrooms across the US.
Zagato Roadster is seen with a new kidney shaped grille and Z design grating along with twin circular headlights and three dimensional front apron. Zagato has been built in a matter of six weeks just so that it could be unveiled at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, an event which attracts some of the high end manufacturers who prefer this sort of gathering to use as the launch pad for their upcoming models. This is one event that attracts an eclectic mix of people be it high end customers, eccentric car collectors, upscale manufacturers and auto enthusiasts.
Zagato Roadster is fitted with 19" alloy wheels in a five spoke design. New air intakes in Zagato's hood add style to its already contoured front end, while an LED light strip set into a matte surface above headlights gives Zagato a premium look. Its interiors have black and brown leather embroidered seats with contrasting stitching. The company has not yet revealed any pricing for the Zagato Roadster as on date.
