QBEAK is a small, diminutive electric vehicle that is made up of lightweight recyclable material and weighs just 600 kgs. But do not be fooled by this, as this electric car sets new standards where its novel design, functionality and performance are concerned. It is developed by ECOmove, a Danish electric vehicle manufacturer and is well suited both for daily small family commuting and useful for young professionals as well.
ECOmove concentrates on driver's comforts and protection. In this vehicle the driver's seat is placed in the centre while the vehicle can accommodate upto 6 individual removable seats each with their own seatbelts.
The vehicle is yet under development at Vitus Bering Innovation Park. It is an electric vehicle that is fitted with two zero emission electric motors of 35.4 kW each making a total of 70,8Kw of potential power. Reaching a top speed of 75 mph and a range of 186 miles, QBEAK measures 118" in length, 69" in width and stands 65" in height. ECOmove has opened bookings while deliveries are expected to commence by end of 2012.
