Rolls Royce has announced to launch 35 units of the Phantom Coupe special edition in order to pay homage to the company's co-founder and the Supermarine S6B racing seaplane. The new coupe model will be featured at the Pebble Beach Quail gathering in California.
This model has been provided with an all new paintjob and a design that brings about its aerodynamic features. The Phantom Coupe Aviator edition features an Aviator grey paint job which is contrasts with the matt finish of the bonnet, front grille and windows. The interior features an aviation grade clock which is embedded into the dashboard fascia.
The metal foil dashboard also holds space for dials which showcase power reserve, fuel gauges and speedometer. The interiors have been done up in veneer mahogany and combined with brown leather entities. The car boasts of polished stainless steel on lays and leather floor mats.
The driving column dresses in anodized aluminum with features that are similar to the fuselage of the S6B seaplane. The overall design of the Rolls Royce phantom Coupe Aviator defines power, racing and modern engineering coupled with a slight influence of aviation.
