Mercedes F1 and Airtel to be seen as allies for the Indian Grand Prix

In preparation for the 2012 Indian Grand prix, Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team has confirmed a race partnership with Bharti Airtel. This is not surprising as the Indian telecommunication provider was the sponsor of the inaugural race held at the Buddh international circuit last year.

The telecommunications company will look to use the influence of the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team to help better conditions for racing in India. Mercedes F1 Formula One driver's Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg will also be a part of a commercial to promote racing and the involvement of Bharti Airtel.

The Mercedes AMG F1 W03 car will feature Airtel stickers on the headrest and air box. Branding will also been seen on race suits as also helmets worn by Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. Innovative content and experiences have been planned by Bharti Airtel in preparation for the Indian Grand Prix 2012. During this time, it will use influences of the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Formula One team to boost the affinity of motor sports within individuals in India.
