Mahindra and Mahindra launched their new Verito at the end of July 2012. This entry level sedan is priced between Rs.5.27 lakhs and Rs.7.14 lakhs. Available both in petrol and diesel options the new Verito looking to compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Toyota Etios, both priced in the Rs.4.88 lakh to Rs.7.35 lakh and Rs.5.14 lakh to Rs.8.23 lakh category respectively. Verito petrol variant will be fitted with a 1.4 liter engine and the diesel counterpart possesses a 1.5 liter engine.
There are a number of reasons why the New Verito will appeal to customers. Sophisticated exteriors, rugged body, aquiline cuts give the vehicle an altogether well dressed look, while its interiors compliment the exteriors in the best possible way. Features include Chrome plated front grille, sculpted boot lid, clear lens tail lamps, alloy wheels, new fog lights and blackened pillars. Interiors are spacious and comfortable while seats are elegantly upholstered. New Look Verito sedan diesel mileage is pegged at 21.03 kmpl as er ARAI.
Variometric AC, 2 DIN music system with CD, MP3, USB, AUX-IN are available along with two tone instrument panel, wide rear seats with head restraints and door mounted power window switches. Enhanced safety features are another advantage in the new Verito. This includes ABS with EBD, anti theft engine immobilizer, driver airbags, and side impact beams.
