Chinese tuning company Revozport have taken the Mini Coupe and fitted it with a host of carbon accents and upgrades to make it not only lighter but powerful as well. Named Revozport Mini Targa Raze, the tuned engine now offers 250 hp that is about 69 hp more than production model while the car also weighs 66 pounds less than the former. Besides this the tuning company has replaced a total of 23 parts with carbon and Kevlar parts to contribute to better performance and lighter weight.
Mini R58 Coupe and R59 Roadster completed their tuning from the company's UK office. Revozport along with engineering team at TARGA Racing took over the building of this performance kit and aerokit with extensive use of carbon composite fiber. The vehicles wheel track is also extended by 15 mm, both at the front and rear while the tuning kit adds an LED DRL lightweight bonnet, rear bumper, LED reverse and foglight, side skirts, widened fenders in front and rear.
Performance upgrades include lightweight titanium cat back exhaust weighing 5 kgs, an ECU mapping, carbon induction pipe and bigger intercoolers. A visit to Zhuhai International Circuit during the month of October 2012 will get you a closer look at the Mini Targa Raze.
