Registrations still open for Ferrari Silverstone meet next month: 1000 Ferrari owners already registered

Ferrari has confirmed that there will be at least 1,000 Ferrari cars in attendance at the Ferrari Racing Days at Silverstone Circuit on September 15th 2012. Ferrari Northern European Division is all set to break a Guinness World Record with the largest gathering of Ferrari cars. Earlier this record was set in 2007 where 385 cars were in attendance but Ferrari lost this record in 2008 when 490 super cars were on display at Fuji Speedway Circuit, Shizuoka, Japan.

Now in 2012 Ferrari is back on track to reclaim their record. Even after receiving 1,000 registrations, Ferrari says they can accommodate more. "Registrations remain open as we anticipate the recently extended Silverstone Grand Prix circuit can accommodate more than 1000 cars on track," Ferrari said in a statement. So if you have a Ferrari and want to be a part of this historic event, you can still register. The Italian auto manufacturers will be donating £5 for every car entered for setting the world record.

Visitors at the venue will be able to experience not only the 1000+ Ferrari supercars but will also be able to feast their eyes on even more elite FXX and 599XX vehicles and a few of Ferrari F1 cars. Pricing of tickets to this show are set at £15 per head for a day entry while weekend entry is at £20 per person. Children under the age of 15 are permitted free entry.
