Yamaha V-Max has been called VMAX since 2008. This cruiser motorcycle was introduced by Yamaha in 1985. It possesses a V4 engine and was designed by John Reed, an English designer who was contacted by Yamaha to design this bike. VMAX was released in 1985 and instantly garnered attention enough to be named Bike of the Year from Cycle Guide.
VMAX measures 91" in length, 31.3" in width and 46" in height. Its engine has been upgraded time and again from its four valves per cylinder, liquid cooled V4 to 102 1679cc liquid cooled 65 V4 DOFC 4 valves/cylinder. Prices start at $19,890.
