Vodafone Drive into the Big League is being awaited with bated breath. Vodafone is one of the country's major telecommunication service providers and has announced its allegiance to the second season of the prestigious motor racing event in India. This gives small and medium enterprises in the country a chance to be seen at the events though their advertisements and logos being placed on Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars.
McLaren Mercedes cars will be racing at the second Indian Grand Prix scheduled to take place at Buddh International Circuit, Noida on October 26, 27 and 28, 2012. Obviously being represented at such a prestigious show will entail a series of selection processes. The response was over 80,000 entries being received. Entries are open to SMEs with turnover between Rs.10 crores to Rs.250 crores and who have less than 1000 employees.
10 prominent SME hubs are Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Mangalore and Vishakhapatnam. All entries will be assesses and shortlisted candidates will be further decided by a panel of experts. Candidates will have to present their cases to this panel of judges on a TV reality show where the final two winners from each venue will be decided.
