SWAT stands for 'Special Weapons and Tactics', but here we are taking about something else. German tuner named SWAT stands for 'Special Wagons and Tuning'. Special Wagons and Tuning (SWAT) comprises of the KBR motorsport along with Cover EFX, SH CarCare and CFX companies. This tuning firm has taken up quite a number of projects in the past and the Volkswagen CC is one of their newest projects.
In this project, the firm has tried to design the CC to act naturally in its surroundings. They have done so by applying a camouflage theme matt foil wrap which allows the car to blend in with its surroundings according to them.
However, unless one is staying in a monochromatic environment this is not possible. Contrary to the fact that the cover allows for blending in with the surroundings it's quite different in reality as the car is doing rounds of the city roads with everyone getting a peek of the vehicle that 'cant be seen' so to say.
Apart from the stealth cover, the car has been provided with an upgraded engine capable of spitting out 276 hp and a sporty exhaust system. The car also boasts of shortened coilovers and colored 21 inch alloy wheels.
